I like very sad and beautiful pieces like Bach's vitali chaccone Bach's mass in B minor or the beggining of Elgar's cello concerto (1st mov)

if you could recommend some pieces similar to those,perferably played with violin or cello,it would be very appreciated :)

Elgar's 2nd Symphony, the slow movement, and the close, like the passing of the Edwardian age. Try also his Piano Quintet.

Preludes, nocturnes & waltzes by Chopin at least, as well as Händel's Recorder Sonatas and all music written for viola da gamba/theorbo/lute!
