The internet is completely worthless for learning piano. You might want to check out a site like musictheory.halifax.ns.ca to learn a bit of music theory, but if you want to jump right into playing, then buy a copy of Alfred's Adult teach yourself piano book. It's all pretty self explanatory, and though it gets pretty hard at the end, it moves pretty gradually throughout.



Plus, the book is only $15 or so, which is MUCH less than you would be spending on lessons. Once you get the basics down, you might want to try finding a teacher, but that would waste your time right now.

If you're serious about this i don't think you can learn online.hire a piano teacher to give you lessons.
