Gore and his flunkies will continue to argue, despite AMAZING amounts of evidence to the contrary, that global warming is caused by man-made technologies (FALSE!), is worse than it ever has been before (ALSO FALSE), will increase global temperatures by a significant, never before seen amount (FALSE!), is BAD for us (FALSE!), and requires immediate, radical changes by the most advanced nations in order to reverse (ALSO FALSE!). He also claims that it will not cost much to implement Kyoto style reforms (FALSE!), and that if we do, we can "save the world" (FALSE!).
Let's go through these items one by one, shall we?
AlGore claims that "global warming" is happening because of man made technologies. FALSE! IF you even believe that carbon dioxide emissions are the CAUSE of global warming (which they are not! Ice core samples PROVE that NATURAL warming RESULTS in increased carbon dioxide emissions, not the other way around!), Man is responsible for ONLY 4% of the carbon dioxide emissions on the planet! Even if we were to COMPLETELY STOP emitting carbon dioxide (which would entail completely stopping our use of ALL ENERGY--no air conditioners, no cars, no lights, no heat, no ANYTHING!) we would not significantly decrease the carbon dioxide emissions on the planet, as 96% of said emissions are NATURALLY OCCURRING!
AlGore and his environmental cultists claim that the earth is warmer than it has ever been. FALSE! Just a few hundred years ago, during a period called, amazingly enough, the "midieval warming period", the temperature on the planet was significantly warmer. Significant numbers of crops were grown in Northern Europe, and the North Atlantic was navigable by the Vikings enough that they were able to come across the ocean to America! Neither of these are able to happen today, as the climate in those areas is still TOO COLD!
AlGore claims in his books and movies that because of man made global warming, temperatures will rise by over 11 degrees in the next century. FALSE! Acutal temperature measurements, not based on flawed "climate models" that Gore and his envirocultists employ (Which PROVE their inaccuracy by NOT BEING able to work BACKWARD, and actually predict what temperatures and climates WERE by using historical data) show that the temperature is up ONLY 0.7 degrees in the last 2 decades. If that rate continues, we are talking about a grand total of less than 4 degrees over the next 100 years!
AlGore claims that an increase in carbon dioxide concentrations, and rise of a couple of degrees in temperature would be a BAD, CATASTROPHIC, HORRIBLE thing for the world, and IT IS ALL OUR FAULT! FALSE! A slight increase in temperature, and increased concentrations of carbon dioxide would be GREAT for plant life (i.e. Food Crops!). Would it be so bad to have winters that are not QUITE so cold (look at the giant nor-easter that dropped 11 FEET of snow on the northeast last winter!), and would it be horrible for the world to be able to grow more Food and other crops???
Algore and his Kyoto cronies state that to "Fight" global warming, the most advanced nations need to IMMEDIATELY reduce carbon dioxide emissions! FALSE! The Kyoto protocol EXEMPTS many developing countries, including CHINA! More technoligically advanced countries are able to produce MUCH cleaner power and energy, Less advanced countries cause SIGNIFICANTLY MORE POLLUTION, and carbon dioxide as well! Compare the new fuels that have been developed in the US that have 95% less sulfur being burned in cars, the cars themselves with catalytic converters and other smog equipment and the factories with all the pollution scrubbing equipment that is now required by the government in the US, as opposed to the cars, fuels, and factories in China that have NONE OF THOSE! PLUS, since so many countries are EXEMPT from Kyoto, if the technologically advanced countries have caps slapped on them, they will simply MOVE their manufacturing to the exempt countries--where the energy is produced and used by plants and factories that are MUCH MORE POLLUTING! This will result in MORE smog and GHG's, not less!
AlGore claims that if we were to implement Kyoto style reforms, "it would not cost us much". FALSE! Energy costs would go up by from 25% to 100%, and every industry that uses energy would have to RAISE THEIR PRICES TO US to pass along that increase in energy costs. Gasoline could easily DOUBLE in price (Partly due to increase costs, partly due to increased TAXES, as the Government seeks to FORCE US to use less energy in order to comply), Food costs would go up--everything we eat must be transported, usually by truck (which uses gasoline), so transport costs would go up, pushing up prices; Housing costs would go up--again building materials have to be transported, and increased costs are ALWAYS passed on to the end consumer; taxes would CERTAINLY go up, as the government would be FORCED to MAKE us limit our energy usage in order to comply with Kyoto's limits, and raising taxes is the best way our government knows to dis-incentivize an activity. Our economy would be driven into a recession, which would adversely affect most EVERYONE's ability to increase their quality of life! All over a guess, a lie, and a FRAUD! The only people that would MAKE MONEY would be the people that make the laws, "trade" the carbon credits, and otherwise have the power to regulate our lives!
Lastly, Algore and the ecocultists say that "if we do these little things, we can save the world". FALSE! Climate is cyclical--think back: How many ice ages have we had in the past? Is your answer anything other than "ONE"? If there have been MORE than one, what caused the others to end??? SUV's? US Technology and "Greed"? Nonsense. Climate change is a naturally occurring thing, and it goes in cycles! It is amazing that scientists also report that there is currently "global warming" occurring on Mars, and other planets in out solar system! Is it just Possible that the cycles of heating and cooling in the Earth's climate are caused by the MOST POWERFUL ENERGY SOURCE IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM, the SUN??? Scientists that have not fallen to the arm twisting of the eco-cultists have shown that planetary heating and cooling can be directly correlated to Solar activity--with models that actually WORK!
AlGore's new gig? He should just go back to "Hypocrite House" (The house he owns in Tennessee that uses MORE POWER IN A MONTH than most of us use in a YEAR!--Talk about setting an example, eh?), and STFU! Stopping the GHG's emitted from his big hairy piehole would be a GREAT START!
