Price depends on a several factors including age, model, condition, upright or grand.

Could be anywhere from a few thousand to 100K depending on what you're looking for.

Like every piano it depends on the individual instrument and the condition. There are list prices for new pianos, but even those prices are negotiable to some extent.

... There are still Steinway square grands around that people think are worth a heap of money. Any pianist or piano technician would gladly pass those up.

Depends. I have seem a used Steinway upright for sale for £9000 ($15000) and a 9ft concert grande brand new costs £100000 ($165000).
