I recently downloaded Frates (for piano and violin) and I swear that I've heard it in a movie but I just can't recall what it was.

According to my personal movies database, Arvo Pärt's 'Fratres' (brothers) has been used in the following movies:
Dead Man's Shoes
Little Lili
Meet Joe Black
Mother Night
Rachel River
Repentance
Uprising
Winter Sleepers
And I'm sick and fed up seeing m45rg's over-zealous and ignorant postings. I'm all for putting people straight when they've posted in the wrong forum but, m45rg, you are too ignorant to know what is 'classical' and what is not. Please pay a little more care!

Arvo Part's "Fratres" and "Cantus in Memory of Benjamin Britten" are featured in:
Winter Sleepers (1997)
Starring: Ulrich Matthes, Marie-Lou Sellem Director: Tom Tykwer
Also, if you are interested Fratres is a piece that is arranged for a host of instruments, I would recommend locating this CD to listen to the difference in timbres and voices in each version.
'm45rg'---he asked a question about classical music, yes it was pertaining to if it was in a movie, but regardless, he asked about a piece of 20th Century classical music (Western Art Music). It's cool how you're padding your points by answering every single question that MAY or MAY NOT relate to classical music with the same formulaic response. A lot of people would call that spamming, should we report you? Because I'm sure you would report someone like yourself if you saw them infecting the forum with the same wretched spew of garbage...Please check yourself, this is the second time today you have been completely out of line.
