Who are your 2 favourite flamenco guitarists?

Mine are Andres Segovia and Paco de Lucia. There's a brilliant young flamenco player named Grisha Goryachev !

Yeah actually Andres Segovia was not a flamenco guitar player. He was the father of Classic guitar style. And Otmart Liebert isn't a flamenco guitar player either. He plays some flamenco sometimes but he's not really a flamenco guitarist.



Well obviously I love Paco De Lucia and Sabicas too. I mean who doesn't? Anyone who is seriously into flamenco can't help but admire their virtuosity. I also love Tomatito, again another legendary guitar player with a very solid style and powerful technique.

Paco Pena and Serranito are also some very renowned guitar players within flamenco circle and I enjoy their virbrant performances.

Actually he HATED flamenco. He used to say tha flamenco players had very dirty hands.



My vote goes for PAco de Lucia (The best ever) and Sabicas.
